Saskia: Building towers and trains for your animals (your most played with toys by far).
Félix: You have us all under your spell. We live for those smiles.

Saskia: Every game, in every room, every waking moment. Dressing up.
Félix: The background here looks like a bad 1970s studio backdrop (it's a pile of leaves in our courtyard) so it cracks me up that you're wearing your op shopped cable knit. You are soothed outside in the fresh air. I rug you up when I hang out the washing and you are content to kick around in your bouncer, watching your sister scoot past on her tricycle.

Saskia: Golden hour on the Wide Brown Land.
Félix: I ignored the mess in the background, sat in my new (to me) armchair with my feet on the ottoman and you on my lap, and we talked. You are such good company.

Saskia: Who needs a dress up box when you have Mama's shoes and jewels at hand?
Félix: She calls you Foxy (and we do too now).

Saskia: You asked for a 'big one up there' when I did your hair. You are beginning to have (very strong) opinions about what you wear and how to have your hair. Already? Seriously?
Félix: Your most favourite thing to stick in your mouth. After your hands, of course.

Félix: Book worm.

Saskia: A break between dancing at the Folky.
Félix: Already I can see that in so many ways you are like your Dada.
