I've found I haven't been as enthusiastic about sitting down to compose posts lately. I know this happens to a lot of us. After recent events, it's just been important to me to spend my time with Saskia in the moment, and not thinking about how I can capture what's going on. The desire will be back though. Already I can feel it creeping in...
...and when she naps, I bake or prepare slow cooked dinners.
(and of course I check out your blogs)
it's an ebb and a flow kind of thing isn't it .. i find that too. x
ReplyDeleteso true...i suppose it always happens for a reason x
DeleteBe kind to yourself, we all go through those blogging lulls depending on where we're at and with your recent happenings, it's only understandable. We'll all be here waiting when you're ready. Take care xx
ReplyDeleteYou're so sweet lady! But I can tell that from your lovely blog x
DeleteI know the feeling! I had a huge blogging slump for many months and have only just felt the urge to compose/create again. That wooden bowl is beautiful, and the cloud!

DeleteIts all about balance isn't it.
ReplyDeleteAnd those days with bubbie are just so precious - don't miss out on those for anything!
Lizzie, the time is already zipping by...I think about the day I have to go back to work (albeit part time - and not for another year or so) and it makes me determined to make the most of every minute with her x
DeleteI hear you lovely lady x
ReplyDelete...and so it must be the day of comebacks x
Delete(lovely to see your pics up again)
I feel like that too alot of the time. Its nice to take a step back occasionally. x
ReplyDeleteIt's been refreshing...and I've been ploughing through some stitching at night (rather than sitting in the computer each night) x
DeleteIt has been a sad time for you, a time of reflection. Being cosy inside while making and doing sounds perfect to me. You'll never have this time with Saskia like now, so enjoy xx
ReplyDeletePS. I'm back and loving Canberra's autumn colours. Hope you got my Etsy messages :-)
I think you've found your way when taking this photo :) Monika
