A portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, as a one year old.
She moves fast. One second she's chief of the watering can, the next she's retrieving casuarina seeds from the cracks in the deck.
Taking part in Jodi's weekly portrait series
Oh those curls! Aren't they just wonderful whirlwinds?
ReplyDeleteI love how their little minds wander from one thing to the next so quickly! What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you xxx
They just flit from one thing to the other don't they?! No wonder they sleep so hard. She always seems like she has an amazing task underway...full of concentration. Beautiful girl! WIshing you a gorgeous week :) x
ReplyDeletemy 18 month old also loves the task of watering our little flowers and vegetable patch ... and a nice way to keep cool! x
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteShe's just so lovely! It's like they've got to accomplish as many things as they can just in case they're taken away from an activity too soon x
ReplyDeleteAdorbale photo.
ReplyDeleteI love that toddler crouch...even though they are so low to the ground, they manage to get even lower so they can really study whatever it is they are interested in.
She's just so cute.
ReplyDeleteSweet little Saskia :) I love the way she always looks so focused on what she's doing x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hair!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love that little dress.
They are whirlwinds at her age, aren't they? What a sweet little moment - she's all nappy and curls. You're up to week 14? You must have started the project last year... der to me. x
ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel exhausted the way she gets about and flits from one thing to another! Yes, I started on her first birthday last year (Oct) to capture her second year x
DeleteThey should do move fast at this age, don't they? And I find they are stealth like in their attack.
ReplyDeleteLook at those curls and the concentration on her face - such a beauty. I especially like the little pointed finger (Everly does the same) - it always makes me giggle.
ReplyDeleteShe is simply wonderful in her simplicity.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful week.
Don't you feel like you need to have eyes in the back of your head?! I find my daughter is constantly into something haha ; )
ReplyDeleteAnd...Saskia's kimono onesie is too cute. Where did you find it?
It's sweet isn't it? Just a little Bonds (Australian brand) suit from a department store - $12 x
DeleteClassic undone onesie of a quick moving Bub- no time to wait to be buttoned!
ReplyDeleteI remember watching piper at that age and thinking how amazing she would be at multi tasking if she could focus on an activity for just a second longer. She still switches tasks second to second. Oh to have their energy!!
Xx
