The knitted dress

knitted dress1 knitted dress2 knitted dress3
Your Mama wore this knitted dress when she was a baby, Saskia. And she was photographed on that bed, in that very same room. The beautiful dress was lovingly made by her Granny, your great-grandmother. She would have adored you.

Happy Mothers Day beautiful Mamas, Mamas-to-be and Mamas one-day-to-be x

Ps. The lovely Bron at Baby Space did a similar post here.

    1. And the more photos you look at, the more alike we look! Had a very sweet Mothers Day - breakfast in bed (freshly squeezed OJ and museli, complete with a little vase and a flower), a naughy pressie, crepes for morning tea and lunch with my dear Mum and MIL. Pretty perfect actually ;) Hope yours was a goodie x

    1. Thanks Catherine! There are also photos of K as a baby and you can see Saskia in those too. Suppose that isn't that weird though! x

    1. Oh yes, the lady pose! Kills me, that straight back. People always say they can see we have the same lips, even without looking at photos of her as a baby - funny cupid's bow.

Isn't it lovely to have a special dress to pass down? It is seriously the ONLY piece of clothing my Mum kept from 2 girls! And our baby/toddler wardrobes would now be vintage gold. Boo hoo.

    1. I can see it now with the photo comparison, but before I just thought, oh I can see we have the same lips, but found it really hard to see me in her...Did you see similarities in baby photos between you and Olive? x
