5 months and the Little One...
...is always busy busy looking looking and makes us laugh with her Riverdance legs
...ate her first meal...but it appeared to be a false start so everybody is happy to try again later
...sits up happily and blinks at us with her big eyes
...desperately tries to crawl, pulling herself up into cobra pose and shuffling her knees in...almost there
...was in her element - centre of attention - at her first wedding earlier in the month
...has been to the flicks to see My Week with Marilyn (although she couldn't tell you a thing about it as she slept the whole time)
...has progressed to the seated pram and watches the world avidly as it passes by
...is sent to sleep with Granny's lullaby (Mama) or the Lois Lane theme song from the original Superman film (Papa)...
...likes eating her little wooden worm best
...makes her Mama and Papa marvel everyday
*wearing her combie dress from cousins in Brazil and a bow in her hair from the lovely Carla
**...and speaking of milestones...this is post number 100!
Such a cutie :) definitely a cheeky smile in that second photo!!
ReplyDeleteshe is so adorable, and what an amazing 5 months it has been!! so many more marvels to come too :)
ReplyDeleteRiverdance legs - perfect description! All of Gussie's socks and the cuffs on his pants are all pilled from the CONSTANT movement. The energy levels never cease to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteThat second pic - melt! Happy 5 months little Saskia x
P.S Loving the new look here ;)
....then please tell me how you are able to get such cute pics of his little feet?!?!
Deletex
Claire, she is such a delight! Changing so much every time I see a new photo of her. She is such a happy baby, the first facial expression is a classic. 100 posts - pity I have come in so late, but plenty more to come! Love the one sock on :) Hope Saskia enjoys her first Autumn in Canberra, with all the trees changing colour.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I should have mentioned she pulled the other one off and chewed it!
Deletecongrats on 100 posts!
ReplyDeleteShe's lovely that's for sure - can't believe how robust our babes look, no longer crinkly floppy little newborns.
Hello Claire! Thanks for your comment yesterday on the blog :) Saskia is gorgeous! I just checked back and saw she was born on 11 Oct - Ivy was born on 28 Sept, but her due date was 22 Oct - she surprised us! Lovely to follow a babe of a similar age and nice to have found you on Instagram! I'm a complete addict and seem to have neglected my own blog somewhat. Hmm. Oh, and the ability to blog about anything other than the babe! Bye for now! Becky x
ReplyDeleteWell she is a pretty gorgeous thing. So worth every post she gets, I say x
Delete5 months already .. and what a cutie she is!!
ReplyDeleteshe is soooo sweet. happy 5 months! the little lady and I went to see marilyn too, her first movie.
ReplyDeleteI have to ask: how, how, how is that bow stuck to her head? Is it a clip? rose wants one :)
and congrats on 100 posts, may there be hundreds more!
They're pretty cute little clips. A lovely friend bought them for Saskia for Christmas - she got them at Seed. I had to go out and buy a few more pairs (they have lots of lovely colours - I think the navy ones are so stylish)...x
ReplyDeleteWhat super cute photos! The smile in that second shot is heart melting material and those eyes!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 100 posts, I really enjoy your blog and look forward to many more posts to come xx
