Tick

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
I'm hoping to get a few things ticked off the list for November:
...weeding the courtyard garden and planting herbs and nasturtiums in the balcony boxes
...organise (and rethink) our memorykeeping system
...complete a secret collaborative project, after weeks of hunting and collecting, and help launch another (more on these later...)
...send thank you cards for the Little One's birthday (I bought a few packs of these cute little guys because I'm being realistic, and if I make my own, they might just not happen....)

What projects are on your list for the month ahead?

*The blow up pool - a $1 garage sale find - proved priceless with this burst of muggy weather yesterday. Little friends, chubby legs,  pink cheeks, paparazzi mamas...

  3. I would like an adult size of Saskia's bathers please :) Oh! Seeing those girls splashing about makes me feel nice and summery - which on a cold, overcast auutmn's day like today is a very nice thing. Thank you for the comment on my blog; its really such a fascinating (and satisfying thing) to make "friends" on the blogosphere and watch each other's babes grow. On my list for November includes: some serious crafting for my etsy shop, trying to finish a submission for a magazine, create a christmas card design with hubby, travel and all the hoo-ha associated with it (Morocco next week, and at the end of the month, Germany) .
    Blessings, Emily x

    1. Isn't it? I'm always looking forward to your (and others') monthly posts - it's a lovely thing to watch little ones develop and learn about the world...Oh your etsy shop is so sweet - very inspiring x
(Where are you going in Morocco? It always reminds me of mint tea sipped on rugs, and beautiful skies at night...and I love that I no longer associate it with the worst case of food poisoning in my life. Thank you, time!) x

  4. I am with you on the memory keeping system... I just purchased a bunch of supplies, (journals/tape/pens) but haven't even gotten the time to start yet. :/ Trying to stay inspired!

Looking forward to watching you tick off that list!

    1. Oh yes, time! I'm going to try and keep Christmas simple simple simple this year, so I'm hoping (naively?!) that I'll get a chance to start this in the next few weeks. Am thinking I'll start with the baby book first...I'll look to you for inspiration/motivation - perhaps we can keep each other on track? ;)

  5. Yes to the memory keeping too! Ours is in a shambles with Bijou's baby book still unfinished and Remy's hardly written in....oh my!!! My list of too dos - prepare for a little man's first birthday party, declutter some more and begin seriously sewing for my new little shop. Vintage fabric aplenty here and ideas galore. Weeeeee!
Wishing you a beautiful end to your week.
    Steph :) x
    And score on the pool!

  6. I have been loving your posts of late....sorry for the lack of commenting, usually reading from my bed while feeding Milly (so only one hand free)

I am also thinking about our memory keeping system...I bought two lovely books from KikiK that I thought I would use as the girls "baby books" - just to pop in little notes, funny things they do and pictures.....I find printing photos takes so much time and organisation with two children.....thinking I should try developing them online.....do you do this?

So many projects on my list also.....a dress for Abbie for Christmas, Advent calendar, a little sleeping dolly for Milly and I too would love to get to our garden to fix up the mess the chickens made!

Good luck with your list...look forward to see how you go :) x

    1. Oh I hear you on the one hand free blog reading business! I'm in the same boat :) Never apologise for lack of commenting!

Funny you should bring up the printing online question, I've been wondering about this myself. I think I came to the conclusion that a lot of my printing is a little haphazard (print out a few photos for the fridge, maybe some another day to send with a card, etc) so I will probably just stick to popping the usb in my handbag when we hit the shops. Although, now I am planning to do a few albums at once, I might look into the online option. Will let you know if I do!

Oh, would love to see your advent. I can only imagine how charming it would be x

  8. Sounds like a wonderful list!
I would love to what you come up with in terms of your memory keeping system. :)
(have actually been planning to write about my own framework now for ages, but keep putting it off for fear of sounding a little crazy...)
That is THE cutest little swimsuit ever too.

  9. I'm eager to hear more about your new memory keeping system - mine needs serious rethinking, I made Grace a monthly album and will do the same for Sophie (eventually) but both girls still need a traditional baby book and I'd love away to record keep in the future. Am interested about this secret project of yours too. As for me, I was hoping to get my gift shopping done in November but so far have bought a grand total of zero presents! Am in the middle of making an Advent calendar too and still continuing on with my Spring cleaning which I fear will become an ongoing project all year at the rate I'm going :) LOVE Saskia's bathers! x
