Simple pleasures of ordinary days
...the hidden beauty of rice grain porcelain; a birthday present that was carried across the seas
...the perfect use of such a delicate dish: to cradle these heavenly treats (teamed with peppery chai)
...her mealtime companions
...janma and grandfather brought her home a collection of shells from the south coast and she inspected every one
...the best kind of gift (green and wrapped with love)
...magic basket rides with her best friend (but it's these images that give me butterflies)
...it's a little silly that I get such a kick out of rotating the toys
...chopping into my Frankies to make gift tags

ReplyDeleteBought the ingredients for those yummy tea-time treats... I've promised Grace we'll make a batch tomorrow :) Seeing Saskia with her beads made me smile... Sophie 'steals' Grace's dress-up ones constantly (she is wearing a red set in my 4/52 pic this week) and often wanders around with several strands draped around her neck :) What a sweet photo of Saskia and her buddy in the basket and I love your prettily wrapped plant (did I ever tell you I went with your suggestion for my family Secret Santa gift and bought a gorgeous healthy fern in a lovely handcrafted pot?... thanks for the suggestion BTW) and what a clever use for old magazines... such a pretty parcel to receive. Enjoy your week my friend x
